SUMMARY: The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for both union and non-union team members. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Payroll Support: - Processes payrolls for union and non-union employees according to established schedules. - Reviews applicable collective agreements and ensures thorough understanding of all pay elements and schedules for various collective agreements representing unionized team members across the company. - Reviews applicable policies and documentations and ensures thorough understanding of all pay elements for non-unionized team members. - Responsible for accurate processing of all payroll elements including but not limited to employee pay, payroll deductions and remittances. - Performs calculations for items including but not limited to payroll deductions and remittances. - Conducts audit of payroll records to ensure integrity and compliance with all requirements. - Assists in the identification and implementation of payroll process and systems enhancements. - Process timesheets, and expenses. - Coordinate with P&C about changes in payroll (e.g. terminations, new hires, leaves). - Update data with salary or...
