Department: 36311 Advocate Lutheran General Hospital - MRI Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: This position will cover PM and overnight hours. PRN position to cover X-ray, CT and MRI. Pay Range: $18.85 - $28.30 Major Responsibilities: - Performs non-technical duties in the Department of Radiology - 1)Assists in answering phones, scheduling patients, necessary paperwork. - 2)Paging Physicians. - 3)Performs required RIS/PACS computer functions. - 4)Performs all functions of Film Library, to include processing stat readings, downloading and burning CDs - 5)Other duties as assigned by technologists and department leadership to facilitate patient throughput. - Assist radiographers with difficult patients, maneuvering carts and positioning patients. Maintains adequate level of supplies. - 1)Prepares necessary supplies prior to exam. - 2)Cleans and stocks exam rooms with supplies and linen. Maintains sterile supplies from central processing department. - 3)Assists patients on to exam table. - 4)Coordinates any special needs for the patient by alerting department leadership as necessary. - 5)Displays a flexibility to meet dep...
