Job description

Essential Functions Purpose: To effectively lead and manage a team of Manufacturing Setters and Operators to deliver products of exceptional quality, on time and within budget. This role is pivotal to our fast-paced and technically challenging production environment. In addition to leading the team, you will be responsible for ensuring safety, effectively dealing with technical problems, and driving through improvement initiatives. Specific Responsibilities: Actively promote EHS awareness and ensure all team members understand and follow health and safety procedures. Continually audit the production area, effectively managing situations where non-conformance occurs. Assist in the identification and reporting of near miss incidents and risk assessments. Maintain and improve housekeeping through 5S. Working closely with the Production Planning team, ensure that the daily plan is clearly communicated & understood through daily meeting and factory walk around. Optimise & adjust resourcing levels according to plan and any unplanned absences.
