Job description

The Commercial Manager directs and coordinates activities of both customer and graphic service departments in providing customers support and service in conjunction with sales and production personnel. Qualifications: Directly responsible for management of both non-exempt and exempt employees. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, performance appraisals, rewarding/disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Supervises Graphics operations, equipment, software and pre-press needs for the maintenance of continued quality and continuity of order art preparation. Coordinates liaison services between management, production, sales, customers and vendors. Assigns Graphics personnel to respective orders based on production scheduling to respective area or stage within the art department.
