Department: 01450 GCMG Charlotte Pediatrics: Matthews - Pediatrics: General Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday - Friday 8am-5 pm Pay Range: $24.10 - $36.15 Major Responsibilities: - Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, follows all policies and procedures, and maintains training and competency based on area of specialty when providing patient care. - Assists the department leader to support daily workflow and operations for maximum efficiency and productivity (i.e. developing and modifying staffing schedules, medication/supply ordering, audits, etc.). - Assists with training and onboarding and acts as a resource for the team. - Serves as a role champion or on a committee to support quality, safety, teammate engagement, patient experience, and general process improvement initiatives. - Performs rooming/visit tasks such as vital signs, medication reconciliation, medical history, health maintenance, allergy review, and screenings (depression, suicide, falls, social drivers of health, etc.). - Assists provider with or performs procedures as ordered. - Performs lab related duties such as venipuncture, sp...
