Business Analyst (Energy)

Job description

We want electricity industry experience, but above all we need Business Analysts who bring clear thinking and intellectual rigour to bear on complex problems – and who know which tools will deliver the best results. A utilities background is welcome, but we need people with the ability (and willingness) to confront ambiguity, bring order to chaos, and to communicate insight that will inform sound decision-making. We’re a small, hard-working team aiming to grow our ability to support an ambitious global organisation, and we’re looking for those who are equally comfortable being part of a large project or working independently on their own initiative to deliver what the business needs. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between business objectives and technology or process solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to lead requirements analyses and to structure them to support effective execution and delivery. You’ll capture and design processes, assess the business and technical impacts of change, lead discussions, capture outcomes and deliver structured documentation.
