Job Overview The Compensation Intern supports the Human Resources Compensation team across multiple employee populations, including hourly, salaried, and incentive-eligible roles within a manufacturing organization. This role focuses on developing, documenting, and maintaining compensation-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while providing analytical support for job evaluation, market pricing, pay administration, and incentive programs. The internship offers hands-on exposure to compensation governance, incentive design, pay practices, and HR analytics in a dynamic business environment. Highlights of your role: Compensation SOP Development & Documentation (Primary Focus) - Partner with Compensation team members to document end-to-end compensation processes across various roles and functions, including: - Job evaluation and job leveling - Market pricing and survey participation - Pay range creation and maintenance - Merit, promotional, and off cycle pay changes - Incentive compensation programs (e.g., sales incentives, bonuses, premiums) - Create clear, standardized SOPs and reference materials, including: - Process maps and decision trees - Roles and responsibilities (HR,...
