Description The Department of Biology and Environmental Science at the University of New Haven invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning August 2024. The Department seeks to hire a teacher-scholar with a strong background in biochemistry, biotechnology, immunology, or related fields. This position will play a key role in our growing dual degree program, which allows our students to obtain an undergraduate degree (Biology or Forensic Science) along with a Cellular and Molecular Biology M.S. in 5 years. Teaching duties will focus on graduate level Biochemistry. There is also an opportunity to teach courses in Immunology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, or upper-level and graduate courses in the applicant’s area of expertise. We seek a colleague who is interested in networking with community and industry contacts to promote and build internship opportunities for our students. The successful candidate is expected to establish a vigorous program of high quality, independently funded research that involves both graduate and undergraduate students.
