Job description

Summary: Primarily responsible for the assembly of parts and subassemblies to form finished products. Assist shipper receiver in shipping and receiving of goods as necessary. Assist with material moving for other departments as necessary. Document and complete all necessary paperwork in a legible and timely manner. Job Duties/Responsibilities: - Disassemble/assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished product - Follow detailed written procedures and technical drawings - Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly - Perform minor adjustments and repairs - Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning - Perform quality control inspections on assembled tools - Documents actions by completing production and quality paperwork in a timely manner - Operate various hand tools and precision measurement equipment - Operate forklifts, handcarts, dollies, pallet jacks and overhead cranes - Phosphating and painting of parts and products - Counting inventory - General shop and equipment maintenance - Consistently perform housekeeping in work area - Adhere to health, safety, and quality policies - Adhere to c...
