Job Description: ORBIS is seeking a highly motivated team leader to join our Growth Group. The individual will lead Business Development and Capture initiatives for Navy programs. This leadership position is tasked with understanding customer needs, identifying opportunities and positioning to win contracts. The Maritime BD Director will report directly to the VP of Growth will lead all aspects of business development and capture management including strategy development, relationship management, competitive assessments, and teaming partnerships in support of compelling offer development and winning proposal submissions. Responsibilities of the role will include: Business Development: Grow opportunity pipeline through ID / qualification of new business opportunities. Lead and drive customer engagement. Articulate current and emerging customer needs and requirements. Utilize market intelligence & competitor data to position ORBIS. Participate in capture activities as thought leader in bid decisions, gate reviews, proposal reviews, and cost strategies.
