Job Type Temporary Description: Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey is looking for energetic, fun, organized, and caring staff to provide memorable experiences to girls in a safe and engaging Summer Camp environment! Lake Rickabear Day Camp sits on 332 acres of land including a beautiful 40-acre, spring-fed lake, perfect for swimming, pedal boating, paddle boarding, and row boating. The Unit Leader will offer a creative educational opportunity to their assigned unit in an outdoor setting using the Girl Scout Program. They will perform as the leader for their campers and assist staff as needed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Daily Rate: $121 (new staff) - $128 per day (returning staff). This is based on a 7.5 hour work day, which translates to $16.13 - $17.07 per hour respectively. - Lead high-quality programming using the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. - Support Activity Specialists by providing additional supervision and instruction of camp activities (training is provided). - Attend all sessions required of position at Pre-Camp Orientation. - Know each girl in their unit and help them to get the most out of camp. - Developing programs according to interest, ex...
