Job description
Position Function: The diagnostic imaging internship at Mississippi State University is a one year, clinically based program, which provides a post-DVM individual with educational experience in both small and large animal diagnostic imaging. The program is designed to qualify individuals for entry into an ACVR-approved residency program leading to board certification in veterinary diagnostic imaging. Salary Grade : UC: Please see Staff Compensation Structure or Skilled Crafts and Service Maintenance Compensation Schedule for salary ranges. For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department. Area of Specialization: Specialty Intern in Diagnostic Imaging Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The intern’s primary responsibility will be the acquisition of radiographic and computed tomographic images on both large and small animals under the supervision of the board-certified radiologists, diagnostic imaging residents, and diagnostic imaging technologists.
