Description SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The purpose of the Inventory Control Supervisor is to manage the process of verifying the accuracy of inventory levels in all assigned warehouses and pump shops to support the maintenance of the correct quantity and quality of inventory to optimize inventory investment and customer service. SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Verify inventory in all assigned locations using corporate and site-specific cycle count procedures. Research transaction histories in the inventory operating system to determine reasons for errors and variances and maintain a record of reported errors to include the type or errors and the responsible persons. Generate daily cycle count sheets, entering the daily count into the inventory operating system and requesting recounts where the variance exceeds acceptable tolerance. Oversight of all physical counts in the assigned locations ensuring the count is performed according to company policy, assisting with variance research, and submitting requests for approvals on variance along with explanations and backup documentation.
