Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Ensure the reliable and efficient delivery of all products scheduled for distribution, manage drivers, and handle customer delivery issues. REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary. - Interact with Sales and Dispatch Departments to ensure dependable delivery service. - Maximize delivery efficiencies by achieving daily case targets and daily customer stop targets. - Ensure proposed scheduling of personnel. - Manage driver check-in and check-out procedures. - Review and investigate previous day’s results as necessary. - Complete and review daily route surveys. - Follow up on merchandising performance by drivers. - Respond to all driver issues. - Manage driver returns and breakage on trucks. - Manage/respond to customer issues. - Interact with Warehouse/Dispatch/Sales Departments relative to issues and resolution. - Maintain daily performance log, report warehouse loading results. - Document and investigate all driver accidents, personal injuries reports. - Ensure all company...
