Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g. Java). - 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, such as SDKs, shared libraries, or high-traffic cloud services. - 1 year of experience with software design and architecture, including experience with API agreement definitions (e.g., gRPC, REST). - Experience using Git or similar control systems for software development. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field. - 5 years of experience with data structures, algorithms, and JVM internals (e.g., memory management, concurrency, and performance tuning). - 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role, mentoring junior engineers and driving multi-quarter project roadmaps. - Experience with Google’s Java ecosystem, including build tools (Bazel/Blaze), protocol buffers, and developing accessible, developer-centric technologies. - Experience contributing to or managing open-source Java projects, with a commitme...
