Innovative services offered across Chicagoland and Central Illinois include community living options, novel day programs, behavioral health services, employment programs, respite for families, and foster care for children with disabilities. Purpose: Performs functions to recruit, orient, assess and monitor prospective and current foster families. Essential Responsibilities , include but are not limited to: Recruit prospective foster family applicants and conduct orientation meetings. Respond to telephone inquires regarding foster parent licensing. Initiate licensing process by providing the applicant with necessary documents and when completed, forward forms to Springfield. Assess family home environment, financial readiness, family relationships, supports, references and motivations.
