Their primary duty involves analysis of project specifications, technical drawings and design documentation to accurately determine the expenses and timescales associated with nuclear implementation/construction and maintenance projects. The role of an estimator is critical in ensuring that nuclear projects adhere to budgetary and scheduling constraints while maintaining stringent safety and quality standards.
