Communications Manager

Job description

Communications Officer Major Function: The Bezos Earth Fund is seeking a Communications Manager to join their growing team. This person should be a seasoned communications professional who has proven experience working and developing relationships with media, securing proactive stories in online, print, broadcast and emerging press channels (i.e. Substack, podcast, social media). They should be able to think big and creatively to drive results both with or without news and have an ability to dive deep on subject matter across environmental, climate, nature and science, to become an expert in the work they’re supporting. While traditional press is a priority, this person should be well versed in all communications channels, with the ability to leverage social media, events, conferences, and other channels and venues to drive news. The Communications Manager will work end-to-end, with the ability to create a plane, drive a vision and strategy and execute – no job is too small for this person, and they should have a hands-on approach.
