Description Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA) is the largest pro-life political organization in the country with a nationwide network of more than one million Americans. We combine politics with policy, investing heavily in voter education to ensure that pro-life Americans know where their lawmakers stand on protecting the unborn, and in issue advocacy, advancing pro-life laws through direct lobbying and grassroots campaigns. Essential Functions: - Lead the organization’s internal legal efforts. - Develop legal strategy to advance SBA’s short-term and long-term policy priorities. - Track and analyze priority cases. - Spearhead amicus brief efforts. - Liaison between SBA (c4) and CLI (c3) legal efforts. - Liaison between Gov’t Affairs and other teams on legal issues as they arise. - Spearhead judicial vetting. - Assist SBA’s communications team in communicating to the public about priority cases/legal issues. - Lead the organization’s external legal affairs. - Build relationships with conservative/pro-life legal networks. - Build relationships with key attorneys on Capitol Hill in coordination with SBA’s federal affairs team. - Build state-level relationships with key Governor...
