Overview Joining the Systems Engineering Team of a key client in the UK, the Systems Engineer is responsible for delivering space missions from concept through to launch, commissioning, and in-orbit operations. Working within the Systems Engineering team, the role provides end-to-end involvement across missions spanning LEO, GEO, and beyond, ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality system solutions through effective coordination of multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities: - Act as Systems Engineer or Technical Lead across the full mission lifecycle, from early concept through to operations - Perform mission and system design activities, including space and ground segments - Capture, analyse, and manage system requirements, ensuring alignment with mission objectives - Conduct system-level analysis, including trade studies, sensitivity analysis, and performance assessments - Support development of concepts of operations and mission architectures - Lead and contribute to customer-facing meetings, technical reviews, and project presentations - Produce high-quality technical documentation and reports - Support bids, proposals, and technical studies, ensuring delivery to cost, sch...
