Description (IN PLANT ROLE - See client specific information below in Job Requirements) Summary of Description: Responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, inspecting, storing, locating and issuing job site material(s) and preparing required documentation and records. Duties: - General housekeeping and organization of materials. - Check freight bills and purchase orders against physical shipment for numbers, damage, etc. If discrepancies occur, initiate new packing list. Offload or coordinate with crafts and quality control for controlled material. - Follow procedures for damages, overages, shortages. - Tag materials according to procedures and place material in proper designated area. - Issue material per documented procedures and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate. - Locate and prepare material for shipping and load (or coordinate loading) per procedures. - May assist in training other warehouse personnel. - Perform other job-related duties, as assigned.
