Description Hill International Trucks, the tri-state areas leading medium- and heavy-duty truck and trailer dealership, is currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven Assistant Controller to support the financial operations of our heavy-duty truck dealership. This role works closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and support the overall financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate has dealership or similar inventory-based accounting experience. Duties & Responsibilities: - Assist the Controller in overseeing all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting. - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. - Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper reconciliation of all accounts. - Monitor and analyze dealership financial performance, including truck sales, parts, service, and leasing operations. - Maintain and reconcile inventory accounting for new and used trucks, parts, and equipment, including coordination with operations teams. - Ensure compliance...
