Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Job description

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper assists with the management operation of the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure maximum service quality. Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel including rooms and public areas. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the Hotel Culture and the following: Principal Responsibilities: - Maintains cleanliness for both guest rooms and public areas and inspects them to ensure that the standards are met - Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management - Assists in supervision of employees in housekeeping department - Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations’ policies and applicable laws in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper - Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems Qualifications: - Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner - Develops alternative solutions, uses reason at all time - Makes timely decisions while exhibiting sound judgment - Includes...
