Transportation Supervisor

Job description

The Transportation Supervisor is a customer-focused delivery leader responsible for overseeing daily transportation operations and supporting route execution in a small facility or department. This role works closely with the leader to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery service. This hands-on leadership role will direct and coach delivery drivers, leverage performance metrics, safety standards, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and actively support business growth through customer visits and sharing sales leads. May be required to perform day-to-day activities such as delivery, moving vehicles, etc. Salary range - $50,900/year - $70,000/year Primary Responsibilities: Operations Management: - Oversee daily transportation and/or distribution operations for the assigned facility or satellite location - Supervise route execution, delivery schedules, and workflow efficiency - Monitor productivity, service levels, and operational accuracy to ensure KPIs are achieved - Provide hands-on operational support as needed, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, loading, and delivery People Leadership: - Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing te...
