The Saint Mary's College Department of Education invites applications for a one-year visiting position beginning Fall 2026. We are particularly interested in applicants who demonstrate expertise in Educational Psychology, Special Education, and field supervision . Teaching, Research, and Service Expectations: The specific title and teaching load for this position are determined by the candidate’s academic preparation: - Visiting Assistant Professor (3:4 load): This track is available to candidates who hold a Ph.D. or Ed.D. It features a reduced teaching load in the fall to support the candidate’s ongoing research, scholarly publication, or creative activity. - Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor (4:4 load): This track is available to candidates who are Master’s prepared . It carries a standard teaching load of 8 courses per year, with a primary focus on pedagogical excellence and student mentorship.
