In this role you will be leading the design and development of the next generation of optical switch products as well as trouble shooting and solving issues for internal departments and external suppliers. The role includes but not limited to: research, conceptual design, prototyping, leading design projects and mentoring, coaching junior team members: Design & development of core technology for next generation optical switches Design & development of precision tooling solutions for high volume Analysis and validation of precision micro-mechanical designs Manufacturing and performance improvements to existing product Collaboration with internal departments, production, NPI, quality, sales and purchasing Presenting technical solutions to multi-disciplinary audience Coordinating and reporting technical research activities...
