Job description

Job Summary Responsible for the repair, calibration, and installation of electrical instrumentation, and control devices or systems of IFF Danisco USA Inc. As well as providing maintenance assistance on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following: 1. Ensure operation of company electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment by performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibration and instrumentation tuning, repairs, rebuilds, and proper installation of new equipment in a safe manner. This includes providing proper record keeping, especially of all safety checks. 2. Serve as a support person to other departments by trouble-shooting equipment failures in the electrical and instrumentation area. This will also include providing input to resolve process difficulties or design deficiencies. 3. Provide documentation for preventive maintenance performed, spare parts required, and calibration schedules. 4. Provide mechanical repairs and inspection as needed. 5.
