Day - 08 Hour (United States of America) The ideal applicant for this role would possess at least 2 years of acute care experience. This is a Stanford Health Care job. A Brief Overview: Under supervision, the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) assists a Physical Therapist by administering patient treatment within the parameters of a specific treatment plan. The PTA participates in department and unit committees, including performance improvement activities and other duties and projects as assigned. May supervise PTA students. Locations: Stanford Health Care What you will do: Applies therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, hot and cold packs, and whirlpool; applies orthotics, prosthetics, corsets and elastic bandages. Consults appropriately with the physical therapist to determine degree and extent of patient treatment required.
