QC Inspector

Job description

Position Summary QA/QC Inspectors will test welders and sample and inspect raw materials, fabricated, machined, assembled structures, and industrial processes for quality, deviations, or defects according to specifications. This position will also inspect welds, flange assemblies, and weld map. Qualification Highlights: - Must have a current Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Certificate or Quality Control experience. - Must have 3+ years of experience working as a welding inspector. - Must be able to meet all physical requirements. - Must be able to work at heights more than 300 ft. - Must have all required tools. - Must have reliable transportation. Position Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and specifications. - Inspect, approve, or reject welds according to specifications. - Inspect raw materials. - Provide information regarding processes and specifications to welders, supervisors, and other appropriate members. - Will test welders for qualifications. - Will interact and coordinate efforts with contracted or internal weld x-ray teams. - Supervise and review project requirements, determine minimal requirements and procedures, and schedule and coordinate...
