Safety Manager

Job description

Description The Safety Manager will develop, coordinate, and implement comprehensive occupational health and safety policies and procedures across multiple locations to promote and ensure effective safety operations throughout the organization. This role requires expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement in safety performance, reduce workplace incidents, and optimize safety processes while maintaining regulatory compliance. Supervisory Responsibilities: - Oversees safety staff and coordinators across multiple facility locations - Ensures that clerical and safety staff maintain the OSHA safety log and other administrative requirements related to safety operations and regulations - Manages safety team performance, training, and development - Coordinates safety initiatives and standardizes best practices across all locations Safety Leadership & Compliance: - Collaborates with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety policies and procedures across all locations - Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules at each facility - Ensures completion of required OSHA recordkeeping and reporting fo...
