Description Veterans encouraged to apply: The Service Technician is a skilled professional responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing all types of automotive problems. You'll be the heart of the service department, using your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure vehicles are running smoothly and safely. Responsibilities: Qualifications: Diagnosis and Repair: - Analyze customer concerns and symptoms to identify the root cause of vehicle malfunctions. - Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems (scanners, multimeters, pressure gauges, etc.). - Conduct thorough inspections of various vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, etc.). - Prepare repair plans outlining necessary repairs and estimated costs, obtaining customer authorization before proceeding. - Repair and replace faulty components following service manuals and manufacturer specifications. - Test repairs to ensure functionality and safety. - Document all repairs and parts used on service orders.
