Position: Yard Attendant: Term: Temporary contract for approximately 6 (six) months Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service Perform shipping and receiving duties as required Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts: Prepare orders to ensure prompt delivery Maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager Qualifications: Exceptional attention to detail and quality Highly self-motivated: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Outstanding customer service and communication skills Valid Class 3 Licence with Air brake endorsement is an asset Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire Experience running a forklift is preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required Applicants must be over 14 years old.
