Job Description Budget Management is responsible for planning and monitoring the agency budget, processing payments for vendors and employee reimbursements, and monitoring financial performance by forecasting and reporting. The Director manages the unit. Under direction of the Chief Financial Management Officer, with wide latitude for independent initiative, judgment, and decision, the Director shall: - Provide strategic oversight of agencywide budget operations - Participate in the formulation, recommendation, and implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to budget, personnel actions, and reporting - Direct and manage PS and OTPS budgets across City, State, Federal, Capital, and grant funding sources - Oversee budget planning, monitoring, and variance analysis to ensure alignment with financial goals and compliance requirements - Lead and supervise a team of 12 staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and workload management - Manage Accounts Payable operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payment processing - Ensure compliance with agency fiscal policies, contract terms, Comptroller directives, and Procurement Policy Board rules - Overse...
