Calibration and IQA Technician II

Education/Experience: - Manage all calibrations within the facility and ensure that systems are implemented and maintained. - Execute inspection procedures for the validation of incoming material. - Design and implement new inspection procedures and programs. - Provide remote support to other First Solar Facilities. - High School Diploma or equivalent is required. - Candidates must meet one the following criteria to qualify: - 8 years of manufacturing experience OR 4 years of calibration experience, - Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent post-secondary studies AND 5 years manufacturing experience OR 3 years calibration experience, - Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline AND 2 years manufacturing experience OR 1 year calibration experience, - 2 years of experience as a Calibration/IQA Technician I. - 2 years of experience within ISO 9001 (or equivalent) Quality System desired. - ASQ Certification desired (CQI, CQA, CQT, CCT). - Certifications from Polyworks, Zeiss, and Omnex desired.
