This position works under the direction of senior millwrights and maintenance leadership to ensure machinery operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining and repairing sawmill machinery including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, chains, belts, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks assigned Assist with equipment installations and machinery alignment Replace bearings, shafts, sprockets, and other mechanical components Safely use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and measuring devices Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues under supervision Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and...
