JOB TITLE : Orderly Operating Room GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Orderly needed to assist medical and/or nursing staff with various routine tasks. Duties may include transporting patients, personal care, gathering or moving equipment/supplies, helping with ultrasounds, and cleaning equipment, and provides general cleaning of surgical suites in a fast pace surgical center environment. - Applies standards of and maintains sterile technique appropriately - Obtains and restocks supplies when needed - Assists with turnover of the Operating Rooms including cleaning appropriately after the case and preparing the room for the next case. - Assists anesthesia when needed including turnover anesthesia equipment - Keeps department clean including keeping hallways uncluttered by returning supplies and equipment to their proper storage areas - Transports specimens appropriately - Able to lift limbs to assist with prepping legs and arms Benefits: Equal Employment Opportunity & Work Force Diversity Our organization is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, creed, sex, religion, marital status, age, national origin...
