SUMMARY/JOB PURPOSE (Basic purpose of the job): This position will lead and oversee the company’s accounting operations in a dynamic biotech environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, managing core accounting functions, and supporting cross-functional financial initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in accounting, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for operational excellence. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead and manage all aspects of accounting operations including revenue recognition, general ledger, cost of goods sold (COGS), clinical trial accruals, payroll, and accounts payable. - Direct the timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. - Oversee revenue accounting in compliance with ASC 606, gross to net accounting and government pricing calculations and compliance. - Oversee the partnership with supply chain teams to ensure accurate COGS reporting and inventory valuation. - Direct the collaboration with Clinical Operations and FP&A to ensure accurate and timely accruals for clinical studies and R&D activities. - Direct government pricing calculations, related paym...
