Responsibilities & Requirements Experience: - Ability to follow written and oral instructions. - Good communication skills, both oral and written - Ability to deal with and to communicate tactfully and effectively all people under stressful circumstances. - Ability to meet the standards established by the Medical Center. - Ability to learn and operate computers, computer based dispatching and report writing, and operate proprietary central fire system and/or other computer based systems when needed. - Has knowledge of principles and methods of maintaining building and ground security. - Ability to investigate incidents fully dealing with victims, witnesses and suspects in a tactful manner, and filing a thorough report of the incident. - Ability to handle money transactions. - Ability to accept change and constructive criticism Preferred Qualifications: Minimum one-year experience in security and public contact preferred. - Experience in crisis intervention and evaluation preferred Overview: Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
