Service Charge Manager Permanent: Grade D - £45,091 – £51,356 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Charge Manager to join Birmingham City Council to manage the Service Charge Team who will be responsible for all tenant and leasehold charges across the city. Birmingham City Council oversee the management of over 6500 leaseholders and 59,000 Council tenants. We are looking for a Service Charge Manager with excellent knowledge in service charges for tenants and leaseholders. This role will be responsible for managing the service charge function for the Council ensuring maximum income to the HRA, overseeing and developing new ways of working, whilst working closely with various Housing teams and Finance. Relevant experience in property-related finances and service charge accounting is required. This role is both strategic and operational.
