BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Centralized Clinical Practice Specialist (CCPS)is a nurse with Nursing Professional Development (NPD) practice judgment and expertise who influences professional role competence and the growth of learners in a variety of settings, with a desired outcome of improved health. Responsible for developing tools, theories, skills, and knowledge to advance the practice of the NPD specialty across the organization. The CCPS designs, delivers, and evaluates educational programs for nursing staff across the organization in collaboration with decentralized leaders and NPD practitioners to promote evidence-based practice that ensures high-quality, safe practice REPORTS TO: - Director of Clinical Practice & Professional Development JOB REQUIREMENTS: Supervisory Responsibilities: NO: Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree required; Master's Degree or DNP preferred or willing to obtain. Degree: Graduate degree plus NPD Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of reaching eligibility. If the graduate degree is in a related field, the baccalaureate degree must be in nursing.
