Job Title: Engineering Technician Lead Job Location: Little Creek, VA: Salary: Competitive, Depends on Qualifications: Clearance: Secret: Purpose: The purpose of this contract is to provide subject matter expertise through program management, engineering, technical, logistics and knowledge-based services in support of Dry Combat Submersible (DCS) units, Dry Deck Shelters (DDS), Seal Delivery Vehicles (SDV), Shallow Water Combat Submersible (SWCS) and other support equipment to ensure assets are mission ready. Responsibilities (include but not limited to): - Provide oversight and supervision of contractor engineering technicians, and assist with maintenance, troubleshooting and technical expertise on all projects to ensure all work meets required specifications. - Provides overall technical oversight and supervision of maintenance. - Assist with the installation and testing of advanced submarine technology. - Assist with the evaluation of deficiencies and sustainability of submarine and submersible systems and components. - Assist with rigging and handling evolutions in support of mission requirements. - Provide project status and work updates as necessary.
