Clinical Manager, Wound Care, Clinical Support Services and Transfer Center

Job description

The Clinical Manager is a Registered Nurse who has 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the clinical and operational management of Hospital throughput Wound Care Services, including Administrative Coordinators, Discharge Lounge, Transfer Center, Staffing Office and the Center for Wound Care. The Clinical Manager will serve as a member of the Hospital Throughput and Clinical Support Service Directors management team. The role promotes the provision of effective, high quality patient care through oversight of clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery, management of human, fiscal and other resources, development of personnel, compliance with regulatory and professional standards, and fostering of interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships across assigned units, departments and affiliated clinical sites. The Clinical Manager seeks and provides educational programs relevant to patient populations served, including medication safety initiatives, pain management strategies, advanced care planning and specialty certifications.
