Description The Department of Communication in the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oklahoma seeks a tenure-track or tenured communication scholar at the Assistant or Associate rank. We seek applicants with teaching experience and publications spanning multiple areas of current departmental specialization, including two or more of the following: health communication, organizational communication, communication and culture, media, interpersonal communication, persuasion, nonverbal communication, computer-mediated communication, and communication technology. The successful candidate will have a publication record consistent with a top-tier public university. A strong record of publication in in-field refereed journal articles, and especially in elite journals, is desired, as is experience teaching communication theory and quantitative or qualitative methods.
