Business Development Manager I SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Business Development Manager I that will be responsible for partnering with business unit market leaders in developing and supporting positioning strategies with existing and potential customers to win project work. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage positioning activities of the business development team, including strategic planning, creating communications and marketing materials, coordinating prequalification efforts, and initiating customer feedback - Act as the liaison between business development, pre-construction, and marketing; provide market sector insights and perform market trends analysis - Establish and nurture strategic business partnerships and customer relationships, developing and maintaining relationships with partners, and identifying new market opportunities - Convert potential future customers to contacts for market sector leaders and become familiar with customer project estimates to facilitate discussions - Complete Request for Proposals with 100% accuracy and compliance with owner’s specifications - Play an integral role with the development team, taking work direction, utilizing training, and...
