This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Construction Manager, Federal Programs with the potential to work out of either Richmond, VA or Virginia Beach, VA. Your Impact: Pre-construction phase: - Assist in site selection and feasibility analysis. - Conduct constructability reviews of design documents. - Coordinate cost estimating and budget development efforts by our Estimating Team. - Lead project planning and schedule preparation effort and coordinate with project controls team. - Support client during project procurement phase and contractor selection. - Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants, in-house and outside consultants. Construction phase: - Identify and manage potential risks, mitigate or minimize - Spearhead the implementation of a PMIS system for the client - Monitor project progress against schedule and budget - Manage project change and recommend actions - Oversee quality control and safety compliance - Reviews project activities with client, designer, and contractor’s field supervision resolving any issues - Oversees materials testing activities - Reviews daily inspection reports and other project documentation - Facilitate c...
