Overview CVP is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to join our team in providing our Nation's Veterans with diagnostic imaging services at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System (Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center), located at 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. This is a full-time, on-site position. Work schedules include weekday and weekend coverage (including holidays), with Day shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30pm and Evening shifts from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am. Previous VA experience is preferred. Responsibilities: - Independently operate ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of complex diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established national standards and VALBHS policies and procedures. - Receive patients, explain the method of procedure(s), position patients appropriately, select and set technical factors, and set up and adjust accessory equipment for imaging. - Set up Ultrasound exam rooms, ensuring that all required supplies and equipment are present and available prior to examinations. - Document necessary images and perform related clerical duties including sending images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), archiving images, post-processing i...
