Under direct supervisor utilizes knowledge and skills to assist in assigned direct patient care as appropriate to the patient’s physical and developmental age, maintaining a primary focus on a safe and therapeutic environment Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions: 1. Under supervision participates in designated education sessions with patients. Pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. 2. Provides basic patient care with minimal supervision within established policies and the assigned patient’s plan of care. Pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. 3. Motivates patients to participate in activities of daily living and unit program within their physical and mental capabilities. Pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. 4. Promptly reports patient changes, problems, complaints or request to appropriate personnel. 5. Promptly responds to patient’s request and provides needed assistance in a timely manner. 6.
