Overview Join Our Team as a Rides Maintenance Technician! Join the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium team and play a vital role in keeping the excitement safe, smooth, and unforgettable. As a Rides Maintenance Technician, you’ll help ensure the reliability and safety of our amusement rides, water attractions, and facilities—supporting the experiences that bring joy to thousands of guests every day. Primarily performs general and preventative maintenance and inspections on all amusement rides, water rides and features, and attractions at Columbus Zoological Park Association properties. Responsibilities: Maintenance & Inspections: - Performs general and preventative maintenance and inspections on amusement rides, water rides and features, and attractions. - Implements preventative maintenance programs based on the manufacturer’s requirements and best practices. - Performs daily ride, slide, and pool inspections and any necessary repairs. - Utilizes technology to complete routine maintenance schedules. - Ensures manufacturers’ maintenance and repair bulletins are completed and recorded. - Records all maintenance, inspections, and repair activity in the appropriate equipment log.
