Job description

Position Summary The Courier is responsible for the timely and secure pickup and delivery of packages, documents, lab specimens, and other materials between designated locations. This role supports departmental operations by managing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining delivery records, and assisting with general facilities, clerical, and maintenance tasks as needed. Primary Responsibilities: - Deliver packages, documents, lab specimens, and other items securely and in a timely manner to designated locations. - Sort, manage, and distribute incoming mail to appropriate mailboxes promptly. - Process outgoing mail in accordance with established procedures. - Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes between buildings to ensure timely service. - Maintain accurate records for all received and delivered items. - Communicate with the Director of Facilities regarding vehicle maintenance needs or delivery issues. - Pick up orders and supplies from external vendors such as retail or supply stores as needed. - Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as assigned. - Perform light maintenance, clerical, or general support duties as needed - Perform other duties as assigned to suppo...
