Job description

This position is responsible for creating a safe and secure environment for employees, patients, visitors, and property of the Inspira Health Network. Security officers will provide proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. Inspira security officers will provide excellent customer service and will be able to competently work with people who are under stress and/or in need of medical assistance. Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to safety, security, workplace violence and emergency management. Greets visitors while ascertaining their needs and directs them accordingly: - Provides excellent customer service at all posts and when rounding in the hospital setting. - Speaks in a calm manner. - Consistently treats all visitors in a pleasant manner. Answers telephone courteously: Maintains visibility to patients, staff and visitors in the proper uniform to identify himself/herself as Inspira Health Network Security: - Answers phone within 3 rings - Identifies self/department, asking “Can I help you?” - Wears proper uniform; maintains a neat and clean appearance. - Displays Inspira Health Network photo identificati...
